HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE



MTULs Empowerment Center will address the health needs in our service area through various programs including:

  • Save Our Babies program – existing program
  • Family walks – partnership with Tulsa 66ers
  • Sister to Sister – healthcare program for women includes a quarterly healthy luncheon discussing
    ways to prevent health crisis for African American and other disadvantaged women (current program).
  • MaleRAP – health prevention game night for men; includes men getting together to discuss the health crisis of African American and disadvantaged men. The game nights will be held in a non smoking environment, healthy appetizers will be served and men doctors from the community will share topics facing African American and disadvantaged men and distribute materials. Following the discussion, the men will stay to watch sports, play card games, dominos and talk. Sponsored by Tulsa 66ers and community doctors
