High School Test Improvement Program
The High School Test Improvement Program seeks to narrow the achievement gap by providing comprehensive study skills workshops, seminars and ACT/SAT preparation to facilitate the movement of more African American youth toward postsecondary education and rewarding careers immediately beyond that scope. The program will also introduce students to a variety of college preparation workshops, as well as Oklahoma colleges and universities. Classes meet Monday through Thursday afternoons, and one Saturday per month.

GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs)
is a program that starts with a cohort of students from the 6th and 7th grades from 6 participating middle schools in the Tulsa Public School District. The program follows them
from those early grades through to their senior year of high school, providing them with mentoring, Parents Resource Center, In-School Tutoring, ACT/SAT Preparation and College Tours & Fairs with the intentions of preparing these students for post-secondary education.

ASAP (After School Achievement Program) Is a program that provides after school tutoring during the traditional school year, and also
during the summer months for
students attending summer school.
Available to students through kindergarten to the 12th grade.

High School Testing Improvement Provides students with techniques and strategies needed to excel on standardized and high school exams by identifying the student’s weaknesses and working to strengthen them.
