MTUL’s Health and Quality of Life Empowerment programs seek to reduce infant mortality and to address the health disparities of African Americans and other disadvantaged groups by offering specialized services to pregnant and new mothers with infants; by providing health workshops and seminars; by promoting healthy lifestyles through activities and events; and through community outreach and health education.  We have three programs geared towards health and quality of life empowerment: Save Our Babies, Pathways for Young Moms,  Healthy Start, Learn and Live- Breast Health Awareness progam.
