Economic Development:
 MTUL strives to empower African Americans and others to be economically self-sufficient through job preparedness skills training and employment initiatives, entrepreneurship initiatives, homebuyer education and foreclosure mitigation services, and financial literacy education. The economic empowerment programs at MTUL give clients the skills they need to improve their financial situation and to move forward in their lives with a commitment to being financially self-sufficient and ready to be competitive in today’s job market.
